MY PASSION IS TO SING
Singing
Singing has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Ever since I was three years old, I’ve loved to sing. I grew up performing in musical theatre, but over time I fell out of love with it and stepped away from singing for a while. During COVID, a personal project for school unexpectedly helped me rediscover that passion. As part of the assignment, I wrote my very first song and it reignited my love for music.
Up until recently, singing was always something I loved but never fully pursued. In 2025, I decided to truly commit to it and embrace the mindset of “living with delusion until it becomes reality.” I have big goals for my music, and I hope to eventually merge my passion for singing with my work in content creation.
I’m now part of a band called Daddy Needs a Drink, and when I joined, I noticed we had little to no virtual presence online. I took the initiative to manage the band’s social media, and since taking over, we’ve increased accounts reached by 238.2%. One post in particular has nearly 6K views, which is significant given that we currently have only 168 followers—showing that our content is reaching an audience well beyond our existing fan base and driving meaningful engagement.
In addition, I have also spend time on builing my persona brand as an artist. I’ve taken a creative approach by collaborating with venues to boost both their pages and ours. For example, I went to a local bar for karaoke, and the owner liked my performance so much that he brought me on stage and offered free drinks to the whole bar for ten minutes. I turned the footage from that night into a Reel in partnership with the venue, and it’s now sitting at almost 11K views.
Additionally, I collaborated with another venue where I performed as a featured artist for their open mic night. The video from that performance has already reached 3K views and continues to grow, showing how combining live performances with strategic content creation can expand outreach and engagement even further. I’ve included a few recent gigs I’ve been fortunate to be a part of, along with a link to my Spotify where I’ll soon be releasing an original song. Feel free to give it a listen—thank you!

Singing karaoke at local bar
I collaborated with 710 Beach Club when I went to perform karaoke, and the video from that night generated almost 11K views. This experience highlighted how strategic collaborations can boost engagement for both parties—helping the venue gain exposure while also expanding my own reach. I’ve found this approach to be incredibly valuable, not just in growing my singing career, but also in creating engaging content when working with brands. Partnering with others allows for authentic interactions that resonate with audiences and amplify visibility across platforms.
first time playing piano in front of an audience - open mic night
In this video, it was at an open mic night at a local bar in my town where I sang a song called “Die For You” by the incredible singer-songwriter Isabel Van Gelder. While I had done open mics before, this was my first experience performing piano in front of an audience. When I posted the video, I tagged Isabel in hopes she would see it—and she actually did, reposting it to her story! That repost helped the video jump from 2K views to almost 11K views overnight. This experience showed me how strategic collaborations and tagging the right people can significantly boost engagement and overall reach.
feel free to follow along on my singing journey! Here are two covers I have released on Spotify and currently working towards releasing an original song.
