As Social Media Manager for Thread Spun, I help position the brand as more than a retail shop but as a values-driven community. Grounded in ethical and sustainable practices, Thread Spun partners with global artisans and organizations that support human rights, fair wages, and environmental protection. I create and manage content across TikTok and Instagram, using light, trend-driven, and organic video storytelling on TikTok to build reach and relatability, while leveraging Instagram to spotlight the voices behind the brand through new partnerships, in-store events, and outfit-focused content. Since taking over Thread Spun’s Instagram, content has generated over 350K views and continues to grow, and in just two months of managing TikTok, the account saw a 222% increase in followers. My work focuses on authentic storytelling that not only drives engagement online, but brings people through the door in real life.

mic’d up Outfit of the day
For Threadspun Boutique, I began creating content that felt natural, engaging, and reflective of the shop’s personality. One series I started is called Mic’d Up Outfit of the Day, where I style pieces from the store while capturing candid commentary throughout the process. It’s a fun way to highlight new arrivals while also creating opportunities to collaborate with the brands we carry in-store. Adding the “mic’d up” element gives a creative twist to a typical outfit video, bringing in humor and personality that helps drive engagement and makes the content feel more authentic and relatable.

I have found there is no better way to drive traffic towards the shop than to showcase what we have to offer! I started creating content that highlighted the little aspects that make Thread Spun so unique and whimsy! This is a video I posted to the Thread Spun TikTok and it received over 50 saves on the video which shows that the video resonated with people.
